If we could give an award to the most coveted new skincare brand out there, it would go to Summer Fridays. Founded by Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland, the line’s debut products-the Jet Lag Mask and Overtime Mask-have taken the beauty industry by storm with their good-for-you ingredients that prompt an immediate selfie-worthy glow.
So when the time came to sit down with co-founder and new mom Lauren Gores Ireland for our holiday issue, we were bursting just waiting to ask about all things motherhood and of course, the secret to great skin.
“I always wash my face, no matter how tired!” Ireland tells Mini. “It keeps my skin youthful and clear of breakouts. Outside of my own skincare routine, I drink lemon water all day to keep my skin hydrated. I’m also a believer in taking some solo time each day to unwind and de-stress from whatever it is you need a break from. A calm mind leads to your best skin!”

But we couldn’t stop there. We then asked Ireland to walk us through her morning and nighttime skincare routines, step by step, or should we say, product by product. The You & Lu blogger shared the four products she uses every day to achieve that dewy glow.
Morning
Caudalie Foaming Cleanser, $28
Ireland uses the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask as moisturizer after cleansing.
Supergoop Unseen Suncreen, $32
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, $48
Ireland uses this skin mist after makeup for that dewy glow.
Night
Ireland uses the Caudalie Foaming Cleanser again at night, before applying this Beautycounter matte toner.
Countercontrol Instant Matte Toner, $28
Summer Fridays Overtime Mask, $44
Ireland applies a thick layer of Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask as an overnight mask (“Especially on my under eyes!”) and exfoliates with this Summer Fridays Overtime Mask twice per week at night.
