In fact, consumers are expected to spend $2.7 billion on Halloween candy this year, according to the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics, which is a treat 95 percent of all Halloween shoppers purchase.
But who’s buying what? Bulk online candy store, Candystore.com, just broke down the most popular Halloween candy by state to find that candy corn is the leading favorite across the board— topping the charts for Alabama, Idaho, New Mexico, Michigan, Rhode Island, and South Carolina.
