20 Questions with Tiny Tags Founder Melissa Clayton

Known for their personalized jewelry for moms, Tiny Tags has created quite a buzz on social media and showed up on the necks of such celebrities as Meryl Streep, Hoda Kotb, Tiffany Thiessen, and Selma Blair, to name a few.

And while the brand is dedicated to creating meaningful jewelry for its loyal community of moms, the brand itself is run by an equally inspiring mother of three, Melissa Clayton. A former CPA passionate about entrepreneurship and sharing the lessons she’s learned along the way, Clayton’s greatest joy is hearing about what having a Tiny Tags necklace means to her customer base.

“Tiny Tags is my heart and soul and an absolute extension of what is in my heart,” Clayton says. “From new moms beaming with pride and love over their new bundle of joy, to moms who are wearing their necklaces in remembrance of their little ones, or as a symbol of strength for those loved ones dealing with a personal struggle. Every day, I feel so blessed for our community of moms.”

Inspired by the leaps and bounds by which her beautiful jewelry collection has grown, we put the Boston-based founder on the clock with twenty questions, ranging from her typical coffee order (she keeps it simple!) to the last book she read (we love a good Book Club recommendation!).
