You may recognize Jenni Pulos as designer Jeff Lewis’ right-hand lady and Executive Assistant on Bravo’s Flipping Out, but this multi-tasking maven also wears the hat of actress, author, rapper (she released her album Old School Kids Beats in 2013), wife and mom to two-year-old daughter, Alianna. So as we sat down to chat for our winter issue, we had to ask— How do you do it? How do you make time for it all?
“You don’t. You just make it through one day at a time, laugh and remember to be grateful,” said Pulos.
We also asked the Flipping Out star what she believes to be the greatest struggle of parenting. Her answer?
“Learning not to be bothered by other people’s judgement or criticism. Run your own race. It’s heartbreaking when another child is mean to Alianna. She’s two, so I can easily remove her from a negative atmosphere, [but] I worry knowing that I will not be able to do that in the future and hope to equip her with the skills to handle difficult situations.”
